Proctologists beat the ice-cold Streator Reds by the score of 7 to
3.
Chainsaw jumped on top of Streator in the 7th inning with 2 runs utilizing 2
base hits. Lyle Overbay led off and he delivered a one-base hit. Mike
Cameron stepped up next and he drew a walk. Lind then grounded into a double
play. Maicer Izturis stepped in and he drew a walk. Kosuke Fukudome came to
the plate and doubled. Jack Wilson added his contribution to the rally and
was walked intentionally to load the bases. Carlos Ruiz came next and he
drew a walk. Chainsaw out-hit Streator for the game, 16 hits to 11.
Blaine Boyer(3-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 and 2/3 innings and
allowing no runs. Sean White gained credit for his 6th save. Kerry Wood(1-1)
was hit with the loss in relief.
